When the local Rooster was found to be mistreating the girls the Outback Outlaws (Emus) were called in to sort it out.
The boys come in early morning to save the chooks in the V8 Flatbed Ford. The Cock wasn’t happy but his pleads for the girls to stay were never going to be heard. Mary is showing him a clean set of tale feathers, she can’t cop him, the others look on in relief!
Gertrude was winner of the blue ribbon in the recent chicken breast competition at the Local Ag Show, she rides shotgun!
